These wire spoolers work fantastic for 250′ coils of Romex. Feeds out smooth and rolling up is super quick and easy. They don’t snag like other spoolers. As soon as my apprentice got to use this he’s been on me to get another one since they work so well. We use them for 14-3 and 1422 for new houses and will use the second to keep in the van with 12-2 and 14-2 for remodels and service calls. Get one, you won’t be disappointed.

I think this thing is great. When doing lighting you stick a 14/2 on one side and a 14/3 on the other – everything you need in an easy to use package. This things is a little costly at $165, but it’s bearable. Add that $35 shipping and it gets to be a tough call whether or not to spend 200 bucks on this. I did…and eventually you forget about the cost and it’s less of a problem and you just appreciate the convenience of it. My employer is looking to buy one now. I haven’t treated it badly, so I can’t speak to durability.

Just wow! Saw the 415D online, watched the video, ordered and had it in a few days. It literally paid for itself on my first job with it.
It works beautifully. I needed to pull some 12/2 and 14/2 from one room then up over the second story through a 6-1/2” attic opening, down 8 feet and across 20 feet to the panel. Without the wire wheel I would have had to go back and forth from one side of the house to the other side of the multiple times.

I’ve owned one of these for 20 years. I use it all the time keep it in the truck with 12-2 and 14-2. I have to watch it on the job site, no one else has ever seen one and it could come up missing.

I bought 2 of these over 10 years ago and use them regularly. The design is brilliant. They are very robust, and work great. My customers are regularly impressed when I pull one of them out for a job. I even purchased longer carriage bolts and use them when I need to work with a larger roll of 10/3.
